Description
Tina Newby is all about making a house a home for her customers by delivering exceptional service and making that her top priority. A University of South Florida graduate with a degree in information systems management, Tina is constantly working to enhance her skill set. Her professional designations include Real Estate Negotiation Expert, Seller Representative Specialist, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource, Pricing Strategy Advisor, and Accredited Buyer's Representative. Tina's focus is always the same — giving due care and consideration to the person making the move buying or selling. She prides herself on getting to know her customers to better understand their goals, timeframe, and desires. Tina tries to not only find people the home of their dreams, but works to find the house that becomes their home, their safe haven, the place memories will be made in.
Real estate expertise aside, Tina is a foodie at heart. She works to share the benefits of a property by showcasing the kitchen, often the focal point of a home. She does so by hosting a cooking show in the seller's home to illustrate the kitchen dynamics and ease of preparing a family meal there. The show gives prospective homebuyers a better idea of how the kitchen is set up and how they may be spending a great deal of time in their new home. The show is called “Home Cooked Real Estate” and is featured regularly on Tina's social media platforms. Her shows have become so popular that this unique approach to home sales has been highlighted by many local media outlets such as Fox 13 and Bay News 9, “Great Day Live,” the Tampa Bay Times, Land O' Lakes Magazine and others. The icing on the cake, as the saying goes, was when her cooking show received a national spotlight in Realtor Magazine.
Tina has also launched a web program called “Tina Talks,” a fun and engaging program that showcases and highlights local businesses in the community. In the programs, she shares what others are doing in the area on a platform that continues to grow in popularity. Tina covers the gamut of local business expertise and shines the spotlight on others doing great things in the Tampa Bay region.
Family is important for Tina and she and her husband enjoy quality time with their two beautiful daughters. The entire family is involved in the cooking segments by helping as Tina's sous chefs, lighting crew, and videographer. In homeschooling her daughters, Tina prides herself on giving them new and unique experiences to learn from. She knows the importance of education and identifies with her customers who are parents in understanding what they may be looking for in both a home and a community. Tina is also aware of the needs of seniors, offering ideas to those customers regarding changes that go beyond a sale such as guidance on aspects of downsizing and potential financial windfalls they may not have considered.
In addition to cooking, Tina loves her three dogs, travel, and growing orchids. She has quite the green thumb with over 20 varieties of plants and counting in her garden.
Tina is a member of Greater Tampa REALTORS®. She's proud of her accomplishments and reminds everyone that she's not just a REALTOR®, she's an advocate for your life's biggest moments
