I moved to Greater Victoria from the Okanagan, via Vancouver, 30+ years ago. As a single mom with a little one underfoot, I put plans of a career in real estate on hold, and grew my career in the BC public service where the positions I held focused on exemplary and discreet client service, contract negotiations and contract administration/management.
Fast forward to today after 10+ years in real estate, these are still my priorities. And I understand and live by the importance of building solid relationships for successful outcomes.
Having lived in and owned homes in several Victoria communities, what I’ve come to appreciate is that each of the communities is unique and has something special to offer. My clients have expressed that my ability to understand their particular community and family (or investing) needs has been a significant benefit to them in their search for their first, or next, home. I have helped my clients Buy and Sell homes across the Greater Victoria area including Oak Bay, Cadboro Bay & Ten Mile Point; and along the oceanfront corridor to Sidney and North Saanich.
Having been raised on also rural and semi-rural properties and farms, I continue to have a love for them, and am knowledgeable with that market segment from Greater Victoria - north to Chemainus - with several clients in that area. After all, Cobble Hill-Cowichan Valley is our “Okanagan of the Island” – with its sought-after microclimate featuring award-winning wineries, local food producers and comfortable laid-back lifestyle.
My husband and I are supporters of energy-efficient, Passive-style modern homes and had our own home designed and built as such a few years ago. The experience provided me with extensive knowledge of every aspect of construction - from design to permits to construction & finishing. We recently became parents to a feisty 7yr-old Scottie Terrier named Skye who keeps us endlessly entertained. We are boaters and active members of our community. Most significantly, donating time & talent (25+ yrs) to the Oak Bay Sea Rescue Society - a non-profit, all-volunteer marine search and rescue unit based out of Oak Bay Marina.
