Responsive and engaging, Chess Britt-Leon uses his expertise in the Georgia market and specialized knowledge of equine properties to support clients in reaching their financial goals on making sound real estate investments. A brilliant agent, he excels in nurturing relationships and doing what is needed to get the job done. Born and raised in Gwinnett County, Chess developed his hardworking creative discipline as a makeup artist and a cheerleading coach in the southeast before transitioning to the west coast and beginning his full-time real estate career. He practiced real estate in southern California before settling in his home state with his husband, Michael Britt-Leon, a professional rider and trainer. Together, they own and operate Windsor Stables, a full-service equestrian show barn in Milton. Well-versed in the nuances of the Georgia market (specifically the niche equine property market), he is dually licensed in both Georgia and Florida, where he also enjoys working with traditional buyers and sellers. He enjoys the fact that there are no typical days in real estate—and no two transactions are the same. A natural communicator and a tireless advocate for his clients, Chess truly cares about the wants and needs and invests in the people around him. Patient and knowledgeable, he creates a comfortable environment for asking questions, is never too busy to answer them and enjoys helping buyers and sellers understand the process. A talented negotiator who is never at a loss for creative solutions, he looks after his clients’ interests while keeping the atmosphere fair and positive. Active in his community, Chess serves on the board of ForTheKid.org, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide backpacks and toys to children in need in the Atlanta community. A resident of Milton himself, he enjoys the area for its beautiful scenery, activities and restaurants. When he’s not working with clients, Chess enjoys working out, playing competitive softball, spending time with friends and family and is always looking for ways to keep busy giving back to our community.
