Dana combines a unique background and skill set merging the worlds of Hollywood and New York City, which she now brings to the luxury real estate market. Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Dana was an established and highly respected celebrity publicist, managing the careers of the world's top film stars, legendary directors, writers, and producers as well as promoting blockbuster films for major motion picture studios. Working with the Hollywood elite allowed Dana to hone her negotiating skills in sales and marketing while managing the needs of a diverse clientele. A seasoned marketing executive, she brings more than 20 years of client service to Sotheby’s International Realty. Dana views marketing her luxury properties as she did her Academy Award-winning clients, with the utmost discretion, intelligence, and integrity.
Dana was raised in Great Neck, New York, where her mother was a top producing agent selling real estate for over 35 years. Dana has lived and raised her three children on the Upper East Side's Fifth Avenue and in Sagaponack and is uniquely qualified to advise her luxury clients with an insider’s point of view ranging from playgrounds and pre-schools to private and boarding schools. The subtleties of New York neighborhoods, co-op boards, and private clubs are not lost on her after 30 years of cultivating knowledge as a native New Yorker. Dana helps her clients navigate not only their property but is a fount of invaluable social information and guidance.
Dana is a long-standing member of the Lotos Club, the University Club, founding member of Casa Cipiriani, as well as, the Bath Club in Miami and the Cornell University Parents Committee, Family Fellows Committee and involved in myriad Philanthropic endeavors. She is married to advertising legend, Richard Kirshenbaum, founder of Kirshenbaum and Bond, current CEO of SWAT by Kirshenbaum, Swat Equity LLC and a #1 bestselling Amazon author, columnist, and member of the board of trustees of The Princess Grace Foundation.
