Description
Born in Alabama, Meg Castleberry has been a local since 1998 when her family purchased a home on Choctawhatchee Bay. As a teenager, she worked in Grayton Beach and Destin before going to Florida State University, where she earned a degree in textile product development. By 2012, she took a job as a real estate assistant and the rest, as they say, is history.
Meg sells real estate because she believes in the place she lives. Getting to know people and helping them achieve their real estate goals, from 30A's east end to Point Washington and Alys Beach, brings her joy. She values a long-term, relationship-based approach with clients, and believes the relationships she forges and her long-term knowledge of the area are essential components of her business. She is a prior recipient of the "Circle of Excellence" and "Rookie of the Year" awards at her previous brokerage.
She describes herself as "strong-willed" and someone who doesn't like the words "can't" or "no." Her husband, Casey, and three sons regularly — and lovingly — correct one another when the "can't" word pops up by saying, "Castleberrys don't quit!"
In her free time, Meg volunteers at Dune Lakes Elementary School and with various community events such as 30A Songwriters Festival and stocking backpacks with Food For Thought Outreach. She regularly plays tennis in both Rosemary Beach and Seaside, Florida. She also enjoys running, making jewelry and watching her boys play baseball.
