In college, he was awarded a full-ride scholarship in "Servant Leadership," helping build homes for Habitat for Humanity, as well as leading and organizing extraordinary events that took place in and around his community. Not only was he awarded tons of recognition throughout college, but he also placed first in the Nation competing in entrepreneurship and third in the Nation in digital video production, representing his institution, Columbus State University. He pursued a Finance and Marketing degree, graduating at the top of his class. After graduation, Trip's father was diagnosed with ALS, a development that dramatically shifted Trip's perspective on life. Trip chose to grasp life by the horns and cease taking a single moment for granted. Family is essential to him, and his dad's illness was a turning point for Trip. He did not let this negatively impact him, but motivated him to be the best version of himself imaginable. It was at that moment he chose to pursue his passion for real estate. He buckled down and learned the ropes, motivated by the desire to make his dad proud. Luckily, Trip's marketing and financial background were tremendous assets to his pursuit of real estate. Today, he is an entrepreneur and one of the Top REALTORS® in the Atlanta market. At his previous brokerage, he received the Rookie of the Year award for the State and the entire Southeast Region during his first year in the real estate industry. He has also ranked in the Top 10% for Individual Volume and the Top 5% for Individual Units with the Atlanta REALTORS® Assocation every year since he became a real estate agent in Atlanta. These accomplishments drove Trip to obtain his license in Tennessee. Nashville is Trip's second home. Trip has been an Atlanta resident for over 15 years and knows the city like the back of his hand.
