Her work ethic, people skills, and penchant for service would lead her to pursue a variety of fields, from graphic design to retail management, before finding her true calling in real estate. Monica credits her extensive retail experience for her ability to adapt to the needs of clients, especially her time in management roles in luxury retail where she personally aided high-profile clients. Monica has since found immense success in her real estate career, amassing a record of over $52 million in sales. She is now partnered with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty and their global network of agents, utilizing the brokerage’s cutting-edge marketing tools and worldwide connections to further benefit her clients. Monica is passionate about her community and works closely with several social and charitable organizations in Chicago. She is on the Development Board of PAWS Chicago, is an Executive Board member of the Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation, and was a founder of the Stimulus Social Club which ran from 2009-2014 and raised over $250k for local charities. Monica is married to FOX Chicago sportscaster, Lou Canellis, and the two are longtime residents of the South Loop along with their daughter.
