Hello and welcome! My name is Kim Rodgers, and my journey as a Real Estate Agent has been a fulfilling and exciting one. I was born and raised in Texas, where my love for real estate first took root. I've always been drawn to the world of finance and economics, and this passion led me to Texas State University, where I pursued a degree in these fields.
It was in 2005 that I embarked on my real estate career. I began by selling new construction homes in Texas, gaining valuable experience and a deep understanding of the industry. Real estate is an ever-evolving field, and it has been a privilege to witness its evolution over the years.
In 2012, I made the transition from new construction to resale properties. This change allowed me to work with a wider range of clients and properties, deepening my knowledge of the real estate market. The challenges and joys of this transition only fueled my passion for the industry.
In 2015, my husband and I decided to make a significant change in our lives. We moved to the beautiful and charming city of Durango, Colorado. It was a move that brought about new beginnings and adventures, and it's where we've chosen to raise our three lovely daughters and our beloved dogs. Durango's stunning landscapes and outdoor opportunities perfectly align with my love for the great outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, and spending quality time with my family against the backdrop of the awe-inspiring San Juan Mountains.
Throughout my career, I've come to believe that communication is the most vital aspect of my job. The ability to listen to and understand my clients' needs and goals is what drives my success. I prioritize each and every client, recognizing that buying or selling a home is one of the most significant decisions one can make.
