Agency Cashiers Sotheby's International Realty

Description

With nearly 30 years of real estate experience in the Cashiers area, Coleen is excited to be a part of The McKee Group at Cashiers Sotheby's International Realty. As a seasoned Broker she has crafted a career out of transforming the seemingly ordinary into the extraordinary. Helping to unite buyers and sellers in pursuit of their desires and dreams.
But it's not just about the numbers and deals. Her true passion lies in forging connections, understanding the unique aspirations of each client and transforming their vision into a tangible reality. She prides herself on being not just a Broker, but a trusted confidant and advisor throughout the entire process.
Coleen joined McKee Properties in 2017 as Broker-in-Charge. Serving as the company’s chief administrative officer, she oversaw day-to-day operations, from reviewing contracts and agreements to supporting Brokers’ professional development and continuing education. Additionally, she served as the company’s primary liaison to state and local real estate professional organizations. In 2024, McKee Properties merged with Cashiers Sotheby's International Realty. Following the merger, Coleen Gottloeb continued her role as Broker-In-Charge. In 2025, Coleen chose to transition from that role to Office Manager and a full-time Broker to focus more on her passion — guiding clients through the buying and selling process with expertise and personal attention.
A native of St. Cloud in central Florida, Coleen holds a bachelor of science in marketing from Florida State University, making her a third-generation Seminole. She earned her NC real estate license in 1996. Her professional designations include Certified Residential Specialist (CRS); Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI); Green; Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS); Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES); and a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Coleen and her late husband Miles moved to the area in 1995 — making a “dream come true.” Prior to joining Cashiers Sotheby's International Realty, she served three other real estate companies in Cashiers.
She served on the Board of Directors for the Highlands-Cashiers Multiple Listing Service for many years and is a member of Friends of Lake Glenville, Cashiers Historical Society, Friends of Panthertown and Waterfall Keepers of North Carolina.
Coleen has one son, Jake, a Western Carolina University graduate, currently working for the Southwestern Commission. An avid outdoors woman, Coleen enjoys traveling, hiking, boating, biking, camping and her newly-discovered sport, kayaking. She can also be found bowling, playing trivia with friends, gardening or taking in a movie.
