I obtained my license as a salesperson in February 1993 and have been a full-time REALTOR® for the past 30 years. My career began at Murphy Realty, where I spent a year working with Better Home and Garden.
In February 1994, I commenced my long-standing association with Weichert Realtors, that lasted for 30 years and now am happily working with Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty. During my tenure at Weichert Realtors, I achieved numerous accolades, including years of Million Dollar Sales, membership in the Marketed Clubs, and the Circle of Excellence. From 1996 to 2007, I specialized in assisting clients with building their new homes. Additionally, I have extensive experience in commercial real estate, encompassing buying, selling, and leasing properties.
My educational journey took place in Hong Kong, after which I settled in the United States in the 1970s. I have been an American citizen for 40 years. My life in the United States began in New York, Queens, where I resided for two years, before moving to Glen Ridge, NJ, Essex County, where I lived for a decade. Currently, I reside in Wyckoff.
I am fluent in English and several Chinese dialects, including Mandarin, Cantonese, and others. Prior to my career in real estate, I worked in the garment industry as an importer saleswoman. This role involved negotiating import programs, taking orders, and managing sales to large stores, experiences that have proven invaluable in my real estate endeavors.
My hobbies include reading in both English and Chinese. I have a passion for history and collect antiques, particularly Chinese objects and art, with Sotheby's Auction Books being among my favorites. In my youth, I traveled extensively and worked in the airline industry while in Hong Kong.
Having lived in Wyckoff for over 37 years, I am intimately familiar with the area, especially in identifying land for clients to build homes. I have a deep understanding of the local rivers, wetlands, and home styles. My knowledge extends across Essex, Passaic, and Morris Counties, thanks to my decade-long residency in Glen Ridge. I have a fondness for Bergen County, appreciating the kindness and reasonableness of its residents, as well as their adherence to rules and laws.
