Lavina joined Sotheby’s after working in real estate both on Roatan and in Dallas, Texas. Lavina is dedicated to making your transition to island life easy and stress free. She chose to move to Roatan because of the ease to become residents, to own property, and to start businesses.
Living in Honolulu prepared her for the slower paced life. She and husband Jay moved in 2015 to Roatan, while purchasing a home when filming a Caribbean Life episode in 2014. Lavina has a well-rounded knowledge base to help in any and all types of relocation scenarios; whether it be for investment, business or simply retirement living. She believes education is most important when preparing to move to Roatan.
In Dallas, Texas she worked in commercial real estate and having been in the hospitality industry since college trained her to anticipate needs of clients. Having a degree in biology has allowed her to put her conservationist heart to work here on the Meso-American reef, through her dive shop. She also enjoys volunteering in communities to help make better lives for all.
