J.L. Forke brings over two decades of years of experience to Santa Fe. J.L. started his impressive career in Dallas in 1998 at the esteemed Ebby Halliday Company. In 2017, J.L. joined Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty where he earned many top producer honors over the years, including Awards of Excellence each year and was recognized by D Magazine for their Best & Top Residential Real Estate Agents annual award. J.L. acknowledges the role Sotheby's International Realty has played in his career as he has earned the many accolades, primarily from his association with many of the best agents in his local market and globally, and from the vast marketing resources available through Sotheby's International Realty. For many years, J.L. dreamed of living in Santa Fe and as a cancer survivor, he understands that tomorrow is not a given, so he decided to make the move and not wait another day. Over the years, J.L. has volunteered and raised money for various cancer and global healthcare organizations, various homeless shelters, and his local food bank. His community involvement now shifts to Santa Fe, where he contributes in meaningful ways to organizations that impact the community in critical ways. J.L. has a lifetime passion for architecture and design that enlivens his business and one more reason why he is excited to be surrounded by the unique architecture of New Mexico. Over the years, he has co-chaired two Preservation Dallas home tours and sold many architect designed, published, or AIA award-winning homes. J.L. is proud to have sold what many consider one of the most important mid-century modern homes in Texas, the Haggerty/Hanley Estate which was designed by the late famed architect O'Neil Ford. J.L.'s deep reservoir of experience, his analytical and thoughtful manner, and his focus on a highly elevated customer experience make J.L. a "once in a lifetime" addition to the Klein Forke Mix Group.
