Hi there, I'm Jay Farrar. I was born and raised in southern Vermont and have spent almost all of my life in the Connecticut River Valley or the Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire. I have spent only a few years away from the Upper Valley region while I earned a college degree from the University of Vermont.
After college, I moved back and raised my now 21-year-old twins. Family has kept me here and I enjoy all that this region has to offer. I find myself searching out new bodies of water to kayak, mountain trails to hike, dirt roads to explore. I am always up for adventure, learning, travel, and taking in all the sights and sounds from the mountain tops to the seacoast.
My combination of interests and careers has given me a wide range of knowledge and expertise to draw from. I have worked in almost all of the building trades, every aspect of landscaping, and grew up on a small Vermont dairy farm. Certainly, all of my careers have been excellent real estate training. My job experiences and life experiences are what make me a skilled real estate advisor in this region.
I have a friendly approach and promise to be efficient and respectful of your time. I promise to approach every transaction with professionalism and integrity. I will listen and communicate with you effectively. I bring to you experience and knowledge in all aspects of home ownership and real estate and will help you accomplish your goals.
