Originally from Upstate New York, Elaine moved to Alexandria for a college internship in DC and never went back to the cold! Since then, Elaine has established a strong connection in the community and is proud to call Alexandria her home for over 30 years. Elaine’s love of people and houses brought her to The Seward Group. Elaine now proudly adds Realtor to her resume. Moving 8 times herself (condo, townhome, single-family home) gives Elaine first-hand knowledge and empathy for what her clients are feeling as they navigate the home buying or selling process together. Through her extensive experience in public and private industry; her work in the field of education; and her status as a small business owner, Elaine has developed strong business, advocacy, and negotiation skills that serve her well as a real estate professional. Elaine believes that establishing strong relationships based on trust are key to every real estate transaction. She strives every day to exceed her client’s expectations. In her spare time you can find Elaine with her children, grandchildren, and grand dogs around the Island Creek Community near Kingstowne, where she has lived for over 20 years. In the warmer months, Elaine’s “office” relocates to the Island Creek pool!
