In 1995, Brenda and her husband sought the perfect spot to build a “second home.” Years earlier, they “happened” upon this area while on vacation from their South Florida home. She was an executive mortgage specialist with a large national bank at the time. She has always had an artist’s vision when it comes to homes and land, and she has an instinctive talent for imagining possibilities. Something about the greater Cashiers/Glenville area just felt right to them, so they bought an undeveloped homestead on Lake Glenville.
In 2005, Brenda joined the Trillium Links and Lake Club team as a sales executive. Her natural affinity for people has given her an extensive network of friends and contacts in the area. Her “fan club” members are throughout the Cashiers/Highlands plateau. Her background in finance and personal experiences relocating here make her a valuable asset to prospective buyers.
Clients have come to value Brenda’s knowledge of the properties here and her exceptional attention to detail long after the sale closed. She regularly arranges deliveries or tradesmen, winterizes or " opens up " houses, and more. She has even been known to snap a winter photo or two of a snow-covered home for a client’s family Christmas cards.
In 2014, Brenda became the owner and broker-in-charge of Trillium Land & Realty Company, focusing on properties in the Trillium Links and Lake Club community but closing transactions across the entire plateau. Ten years on, she decided to augment her skills with the tools and exposure only found in an international company.
Sotheby’s International was her preferred choice, and in the fall of 2024, she became associated with them. She continues to operate from her office in the Trillium Sales Center, centrally located in the Lake Glenville area. Brenda adds remarkable, observable value to her clients, whether in marketing to sell or negotiating to buy property. Many agree she is like “having a sister in the real estate business.”
