A native of Marche, a region next to Tuscany and Umbria in Italy, Sofia is fluent in four languages: English, Italian, French, and Spanish. She boasts not only a stellar sales and service record but also a discerning clientele that spans the globe.


Sofia began her real estate career in Italy, negotiating international transactions that included the rental and sale of luxury villas. She moved to New York City in 2005 and continued to excel, providing the highest level of service to clients from around the world, including London, Paris, Dubai, Qatar, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Israel.


Consistently ranking among the top one percent of real estate agents nationwide, Sofia has been included in the list of REALTrends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals year after year. For the past 17 years, she has offered opportunities in the NYC real estate market to buyers from 30 different countries. Notably, she sold the most expensive property in Q4 of 2022 for $26 million.


Sofia and her team, the Falleroni Team, specialize in identifying the right investment opportunities, providing sustainable fiscal structures, and reviewing the legal implications of owning property in the U.S. They offer boutique personalized service, referring clients to CPAs, fiscal experts, real estate attorneys, and other professionals specializing in international real estate acquisitions.

Specializing in the Manhattan luxury market, Sofia has been featured in major publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Real Deal, China Daily USA, and Real Estate Weekly. She holds the prestigious REBNY Certified Negotiation Expert designation, distinguishing her as a skilled negotiator on her clients’ behalf.


Sofia is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and FIABCI, an international real estate federation with a presence in 60 countries. She is also a member of the Core Club and the Italian American Chamber of Commerce of NY. In April 2015, she achieved #3 status in the Native Society's Top 10 Rising Stars in NYC Real Estate Brokerage, nominated by her peers and judged by leaders of major NYC real estate firms.


In 2022, Sofia was awarded first place in Residential Deal of the Year Award. The winning transaction required expert management to overcome unique regulatory and negotiating challenges with a foreign governmental entity buyer, as well as a significant post-occupancy agreement request. Thanks to her professional acumen, quick thinking, humility, and global and public sector relationships, the sale closed successfully.


On the creative side, Sofia is a classically trained pianist and singer who loves music, gourmet food, reading, art, and travel. She is also an avid runner and a NYC marathon participant dedicated to raising money for charitable causes, including the New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, the ASPCA, and Red Door Community (formerly Gilda’s Club).


Sofia loves pets and shares her home with her beloved toy poodle, Oscar.
