Michelle Larsen believes real estate is about the relationship. Respected for her exceptional level of service and discretion, Michelle represents discerning clients who transact in the co-op, condominium, and townhouse markets throughout Manhattan. Her clients value her extensive knowledge of the Manhattan housing markets, as well as her ability to broker deals ranging from Fifth Avenue co-ops on Central Park to landmarked Artist-in-Residence lofts downtown. Intensely focused on the entire process from start to closing, Michelle manages every aspect from top-tier marketing and expert negotiating to a seamless closing. Michelle is adept at listening to her clients; what they need, and what they desire. Then she delivers. Well established relationships with top real estate attorneys, co-op board members, and fellow agents uniquely arm her to obtain optimal results for her clients. Loyal repeat and referral clients comprise most of Michelle's business, which is built on the cornerstones of trust, integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Prior to real estate, Michelle enjoyed a successful career as a publishing executive at Scientific American Magazine as the Director of New Business Development, and NASA Tech Briefs as the Advertising Manager. She earned degrees from SUNY New Paltz, Universita´ degli Studi di Urbino and is completing a masters in American Studies at Columbia University. In addition to her work, Michelle is committed to supporting a number of city-based charitable institutions including Northwell/Lenox Hill Hospital where she serves on the Auxiliary Board, the New-York Historical Society, the New York Landmarks Conservancy, Friends of the Upper East Side, and Carnegie Hill Neighbors. Michelle also serves as a vice president on the Board of Trustees of the National Institute of Social Sciences.
