Edward Kubow has real estate in his DNA—it’s both a lifelong passion and a personal and professional pursuit. He grew up in Montreal, Canada, helping his parents manage their multi-family properties, where real estate investment was often the topic of dinner-table conversations. At just 10 years old, Edward helped sell his first home by staging his family’s property (before home staging was even a trend), impressively giving a tour to the couple who ultimately became the buyers. Based in Los Angeles for the past 20 years, Edward remains as enchanted by the City of Angels today as he was upon arrival. LA’s unconventional, expansive urban landscape and distinctive architectural character continue to inspire him. The city’s glamorous Hollywood history and quintessential California lifestyle have shaped a unique heritage of residential architecture that fascinates him. After a stint in the entertainment industry as an agent trainee at the William Morris Agency, Edward transitioned into real estate. He began by working with investors bidding on residential foreclosures at courthouse auctions in Norwalk, acquiring debt from regional lenders, and pursuing opportunities in distressed assets in the wake of the Great Recession. His real estate experience extends far beyond residential sales: he has flipped homes, developed small infill projects in inner-city LA neighborhoods, and served as a development executive in the hospitality sector, where he assembled and conceptualized hotel projects. Edward has worn nearly every hat in real estate, and his diverse background gives him a unique perspective, a creative approach, and a strong work ethic that sets him apart. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from McGill University and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, where he double-majored in marketing and real estate finance. He is trilingual, fluent in English, French, and Polish.
