Christian and Amy Peterson both came to real estate as a 2nd career. Christian started his real estate career in 2006 as an attorney working in city and county government, and later as an owner of his own law firm. Christian handles the commercial aspects of the team's business, working on commercial purchases and sales, landlord and tenant side leasing, and business brokerage. His focus is working with small business owners and non-institutional investors.
Prior to real estate, Amy was in the engineering field and ran a multi-million dollar testing lab with over 100 employees. Amy graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Material Science Engineering. As Christian's business grew, she came on as the team's Director of Operations in 2020 and became an agent in 2021. Amy handles the team's residential real estate transactions. Christian and Amy have been married for 19 years. They live with their three kids and one dog in the Northwest Metro.
Christian is very active in the martial arts community. He has a third-degree black belt in karate, but you'll usually find him at a jiu jitsu open mat somewhere in the metro. Family comes first for Amy. When she's not getting the kids to an activity of some kind, you can usually find her reading and relaxing at her parents' lake home. Amy is an avid traveler and enjoys traveling to concerts around the US, as well as the family's yearly Disney trip.
