Michael’s professional journey began in the world of technology and advertising, where he held pivotal leadership roles with industry giants such as DoubleClick and Google. From 1997 to 2006, he helped shape the early digital advertising landscape first as Director of Sales for DoubleClick Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong, and later as part of Google’s original AdWords business development team, where he played a key role in growing the platform from inception to billions in global revenue. These experiences honed his expertise in data-driven marketing, strategic negotiation, and technology integration, skills that now give his real estate clients a measurable advantage. After a successful decade in tech, Michael took time to focus on his greatest passion: family. For ten years, he was an active and devoted father to his three sons, coaching sports teams and serving as a school volunteer throughout the Reno community. As his children grew older, Michael returned to the professional world, merging his lifelong interest in real estate with his background in technology and sales. In 2017, he joined Christie’s International Real Estate Lake Tahoe, quickly rising to Chief Operating Officer, overseeing eight offices, 75 agents, and nearly $700 million in annual sales across Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe. Today, Michael focuses on representing buyers and sellers of luxury properties throughout Reno, with a particular specialization in Montreux Golf & Country Club, where he has lived for more than 12 years. His clients value his deep community relationships, local expertise, and ability to leverage technology and targeted marketing to attract qualified buyers from key feeder markets. Relatable, social, and an exceptional networker, Michael thrives on connecting people not just with properties, but with the right communities and lifestyles. Michael holds a B.A. in Business from the University of Toledo, where he attended on a Division I basketball scholarship. He continues to be actively involved in the Reno-Tahoe community, having volunteered as a coach for Reno Pop Warner, Washoe County Little League, and Galena High School sports programs, as well as serving a three-year term on the Montreux Golf Committee. Outside of real estate, Michael enjoys golfing, skiing, fishing, and exploring his family ancestry. A memorable highlight was traveling to Germany in 2017 with his father to meet relatives for the first time. He lives in Reno with his rescue dog, Buzz, a shepherd–rottweiler mix, and remains passionate about helping others discover the exceptional lifestyle that the Reno-Tahoe region has to offer.
