When he was working for home builders, masonry contractors and realtors in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, while a teenager, Stan became interested in the architecture of the city and the rich history of its communities and neighborhoods. Following graduation from the University of Alabama, he married his wife Cindy and soon became a licensed home builder, building and remodeling in and around Birmingham in Jefferson County and North Shelby County. After spending ten years in commercial construction, Stan became a licensed realtor in 2003, working in residential sales in the Birmingham real estate market and property management in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Stan's experience in the real estate industry, familiarity with the local market and enthusiasm for assisting clients with buying and selling homes have led to his working with clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Known for his ability to listen carefully, he builds strong relationships and trust with clients. When taking time off from his real estate business, Stan enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
