Description
Travis Stein is a proud 7th-generation Texan who grew up in Austin. He graduated from Austin High School, the oldest public high school in Texas, before attending Austin College, the state’s oldest institution of higher learning. There, he not only earned a B.A. in Business Administration in 2001, but also led the football team as their elected Captain. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Dallas to begin his career. With over 25 years of experience in sales and business, he’s built his career on creating solutions and fostering relationships that last. Travis operated Dalla’s oldest commercial printer—taking it from sales to ownership—where he served clients across multiple industries, developed innovations for the industry itself, and preserved a culture that honored the company’s rich history before selling the business in 2022. He now has his sights set on the field he’s always been most passionate about: the outdoors. Travis brings the same principles that defined his career to Ranch & Land: personal relationships and a love for all the outdoors has to offer. Inspired by Chief Seattle’s words that “the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth,” he views land not simply as property, but as something to be respected, cared for, and passed on with integrity. He has a proven history of developing strong teams and maintaining lasting client relationships, all rooted in trust and authenticity. A devoted family man to his wife and their two boys, Travis spends his free time on his ranch in East Texas, entertaining clients and friends or coaching his sons, and countless other youth, on the fields around Lakewood. He is grateful for the chance to combine his professional life with the outdoors, where his values and character have been shaped throughout his life.
