Before entering real estate full time, Alester built a distinguished twenty six year career in healthcare technology, including twelve years as President of a national IT consulting firm specializing in M&A strategy, executive leadership, sales development, and analytics. His corporate experience sharpened his business acumen and negotiation skills, ultimately leading to his inclusion and interview in the book Obstacles to Opportunity by Pat Alacqua. Today he channels this strategic, analytical perspective into guiding clients through complex real estate decisions with clarity and confidence. In addition to his deep South Carolina heritage, Alester has lived in several major markets including Virginia, Tennessee, Atlanta, California, and New York. These experiences allow him to understand the relocation process from multiple perspectives and to connect meaningfully with clients moving from many of the same regions. Coupled with his years living in both city homes and coastal properties, he offers a nuanced understanding of what attracts buyers to the Lowcountry’s historic neighborhoods, golf communities, and island environments.
