CHILDERS SOTHEBYS INTERNATIONAL REALTY began in 1980 as Lee Childers Real Estate. We are a full-service Real Estate firm specializing in the marketing of distinctive properties in Northern Ocean County and Southern Monmouth County. We have six offices located in the towns of Point Pleasant Beach, Bay Head, Normandy Beach, Lavallette, Seaside Park and Toms River, with some 60 salespeople. We are proud to say that many of our salespeople and administrative professionals have been with the company for many years, some since we opened our doors in 1980. We are located in a beautiful section of the Jersey Shore. Five of our offices are located on a barrier island known as "Barnegat Beach Island," which at its widest point is just four blocks wide from the Atlantic Ocean to Barnegat Bay. We continue to be the leading Real Estate Broker in this area of the Jersey Shore, which includes some of the most desirable seashore communities, including Bay Head, Mantoloking, Normandy Beach, Curtis Point, Mantoloking Shores, Point Pleasant Beach, Lavallette, Ortley Beach, Manasquan, Brielle, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Brick, Seaside Park and Toms River. Our lovely area of the Jersey Shore, with its beautiful natural surroundings, and close proximity to Manhattan and Philadelphia, make this a highly desirable destination for both retiring baby boomers and young families. Our area offers beautiful beaches, great sailing and fishing, boardwalk attractions, and outstanding shopping, cultural events and golf nearby. In June 3, 2005, we began our affiliation with Sotheby's International Realty in becoming part of an international collection of real estate companies specializing in high-quality residential brokerage services.
