Peggie gives back to the industry in several ways including as a Director for Texas Realtors® and Houston Association of Realtors® as well as having served Nationally as the 2024 National Liaison for the western region and State President in 2021 for Women’s Council of Realtors®. She has earned designations as an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and the Performance Management Network (PMN). She has completed her C2EX and is a Major Investor and Realtor Political Action Committee Crystal R President’s Circle participant supporting important legislation and issues of concern involving property rights for her clients and consumers. Community service is important to Peggie. She serves in leadership or board positions in a number of organizations that include being an instructor at the University of Houston Small Business Development Center, the Director of Programs for the oldest Businesswomen’s Networking Club in Houston “RClub” and shares her knowledge as a real estate panelist and speaker at industry-related and other events. She also serves on the School Art Auction & International Committees of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo where she is a lifetime member and committeeman. Peggie holds BS and MA degrees from the University of Houston and speaks conversational Spanish. She resides in a vintage Houston neighborhood where she and her Houston-born husband raised their grown daughter. When not working, Peggie enjoys hiking in Colorado, snow shoeing, sailing, and traveling, particularly abroad. She and her husband are avid wine collectors and enjoy exploring the world through wine and food.
