Michael Jordan’s luxury villa in Illinois has yet to be purchased, after being put on the market in February 2012.
The luxury property is situated in Highland Park, measuring almost 8500 square meters, and consisting of nine bedrooms and an impressive nineteen bathrooms.
Initially, the house was on the market for 29 million dollars.
After some difficulty in selling, Michael has decided to lower the asking price by 8 million, arriving at 21 million dollars.
Amongst the many luxury facilities within the villa include: an indoor basketball court, a guest house with three bedrooms, a swimming pool area, a tennis court, a golf course, a lake and three garages.
If Jordan had managed to sell the property at the original asking price, it would have been a historical moment for Illinois State. In the past 25 years, only eight houses have been sold for more than 10 million dollars, the last of which occurred in 2006.
Jordan built the house in 1995, where he lived during the time of his prestigious career with the Chicago Bulls. After his divorce with first wife Juanita and his withdrawal from the NBA, Michael moved to a new luxury property worth 2.8 million in North Carolina.
Jordan, now with a new wife, currently divides his time between North Carolina and Florida.
