Joel transitioned to the real estate profession in 1991 after many years as a design builder, contractor and consultant. This valuable experience in home construction has given him a unique perspective when assisting customers in the buying and selling of real estate. With competence and professionalism, he has effectively handled properties of all kinds, from luxury and waterfront homes to equestrian estates and commercial complexes. A life-long resident of Rhode Island, Joel takes great pleasure in sharing with clients his knowledge and love of this state. He holds a Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation and is a multi-recipient of the Circle of Sales Excellence Gold Award. A founding member of the board of directors for the southern Rhode Island chapter of Habitat for Humanity, he is pleased to have designed and supervised the construction of the first house built by the organization in Rhode Island. In his leisure time, he appreciates tennis, boating and woodworking, and has been a professional musician since 1967. Joel is married with one daughter and enjoys traveling with his family whenever possible.
