Laura Palumbo-Hanson, a native New Englander, has been a top-producing real estate agent since 1985 throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas. A homeowner and current resident of Cambridge, Laura has a longtime history of being involved not only in successful residential real estate sales but also in the community. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and ability to "hear" what people want, Laura has earned and maintained numerous real estate designations such as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Credited Buyer Representative (CBR). Her ability to best assist her clients has no limitation. Laura has garnered extensive knowledge over the years in the marketing and sales of a wide variety of properties including luxury estates and entry-level condominiums.
Laura's diligence and integrity truly make her a part of the community she serves. Vice President of Gibson Sotheby's International Realty, she is serving her second term as chairperson of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board Professional Standards Committee and the Board of Mediators. With what spare time she has outside her real estate career, Laura pursues her passion cooking and is a recipe tester for Cook's Illustrated Magazine. She is a founding member of the fundraising arm of the Cambridge Community of Real Estate Professionals, a past member of the Board of Directors for Ability Plus and is involved with numerous other charities and schools including the Kelly Brush Foundation, the MS Society and Williams College.
