Karen’s years of being a stockbroker and successful restaurant/lodge business owner for ten years, are a testament to Karen’s hard work, entrepreneurship, and dedication.
Karen returns to the Twin Cities after having been a realtor with Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty in the beautiful resort town of Sandpoint, ID. Prior to merging with Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011, Karen co-owned a real estate franchise in Sandpoint, ID from 2005 through 2011. Her high level of ethics and integrity helped her to achieve top producer status prior to her arrival at Lakes Sotheby’s. Along with buying and selling real estate, she brings with her an array of experience in new construction, restoration, renovation, rental properties, commercial buildings and land development-PUD’s (Planned Unit Development). Her highly comprehensive understanding of real estate, neighborhoods, and negotiation enable her to gain the trust and confidence of all her clients. Karen cultivated her communication skills studying foreign languages in Europe while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree. She establishes life-long, successful relationships with her clients by listening to and understanding their real estate needs all the while committing to providing her clients the highest level of professional service.
Karen has a passion for the arts that includes 20 years of classical training in music and ballet, along with professionally touring in Rhythm & Blues bands for the RCA record label. In her spare time, Karen enjoys experiencing all that the Twin Cities offers.
