Jess Cohen Barmach began her career in public health, honing her skills in economics and statistics. After earning master's degrees in epidemiology and biostatistics from Harvard School of Public Health and Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Jess found real estate to be a natural extension of her diligent academic life — she possesses an analytical and critical eye and a wide breadth of knowledge of the city of Boston and its surrounding areas.
A real estate professional of over 10 years, Jess specializes in serving buyers and sellers across Cambridge, Somerville, and Brookline. She especially enjoys working with first time homebuyers, as they embark on a new chapter of their lives. She carefully listens to her clients’ needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction, always ensuring that the experience is fun and as stress-free as possible. In addition, Jess harnesses a strong network of reputable home service providers to help her buyers maintain their new homes and help her sellers prepare them for sale. Born and raised in a suburb just outside of Chicago, Jess has lived in the Boston area since 2005. She enjoys the enrichment that city life brings, complete with lectures, concerts, and bike lanes, and relishes the opportunities to visit the mountains and the beaches nearby. She is actively involved with the Brookline PTO and multiple synagogues around town. Today, Jess resides in Brookline with her husband and 2 children. To her husband's dismay, she is always looking to tackle a new home improvement project.
