Description
Erik is a dedicated full-service real estate professional here on the Central Coast. It’s not about the deal - he loves helping people and will always treat you like family. Since joining Central Coast Sotheby's International Realty, he has worked with clients all over San Luis Obispo County and is certified by the California Association of Realtors as a First Time Buyers Specialist.
Erik holds a Bachelor of Science and a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Oregon, as well as a Master of City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Erik interned with the City of Morro Bay, and following graduation, transitioned to a full-time City Planning position with the City of San Luis Obispo Community Development Department. He then returned to his home state where he spent three years working as a City Planner in Eugene, Oregon. During his years with local government, Erik managed land use applications for large development projects, presented projects to local decision bodies (e.g. Planning Commission), and led a Historic Preservation program. Following his career in government, Erik worked as a project manager for a prominent Civil Engineering company where he focused on designing subdivisions and helping property owners acquire planning permits from local jurisdictions.
Erik’s unique background provides his clients with a valuable perspective on residential and commercial real estate throughout the Central Coast. However, he believes his greatest assets are his integrity and strong work ethic. Erik is always excited to meet new people and share his passion for real estate.
In his free time Erik enjoys music, playing pickleball and golf, tackling new home improvement projects, and spending time with his wife (Valerie) and son (Viggo).
