Das Sojourner-Douglass College verlieh ihr eine Ehrendoktorwürde in Geisteswissenschaften (DHL). Suzannes Karriere umfasst Marketing, Geschäftsentwicklung und Gesundheitsdienstleistungen als Managerin für Allied Bank International, eine in New York ansässige, konsortialgeführte internationale Bank, und als Präsidentin und Chief Operating Officer des Lyford Cay Members Club. Sie gilt als Wegbereiterin und war die erste Frau und Bahamaerin, die eine internationale Bankfiliale und einen internationalen Privatclub leitete, internationale Finanzkonferenzen für die Zentralbank der Bahamas und die Association of International Banks and Trust Companies in The Bahamas (AIBT) leitete und eine Konferenz für die AIBT und Euromoney mitleitete. Suzanne besuchte die University of Tampa, die American Graduate School for International Management und das Canadian National Voice Intensive an der University of British Columbia. Sie war Moderatorin und Co-Moderatorin von Guardian Talk Radio und trat in Radio- und Fernsehsendungen auf, darunter Portraits, eine von Cable Bahamas produzierte Fernsehsendung, und Dr. David Allens Love 97-Radio- und Fernsehsendung People Helping People, zuletzt zum Thema Resilienz. Als ehemalige Co-Vorsitzende und derzeitiges Ehrenmitglied des Bahamas Duke of Edinburghs Award Programme war sie Zeremonienmeisterin und Gastgeberin für königliche Besuche. Suzanne ist Gründerin und ehemalige Präsidentin des IWF Bahamas, einem Mitgliedsforum des International Womens Forum mit Sitz in Washington, DC.
