With more than 30 years of sales experience and 16 years of residential real estate experience, Roger is a creative, forward-thinking professional who has negotiated contracts for multi-million-dollar firms. Though he has lived in various cities including Chattanooga, Birmingham, Cincinnati, Hartford, New Orleans, Los Angeles and New York City, Roger has called Jacksonville home for the last 20 years. During that time he established a solid foundation in the Greater Jacksonville real estate market.
Roger graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University. Before entering into real estate, Roger traveled throughout Europe and the Orient purchasing merchandise for a well-known department store where he served as Regional Sales Manager for a luxury retail clothing company located in the Empire State Building, in New York City.
Roger recognizes the Greater Jacksonville Area enjoys a remarkable quality of life as underscored by its beautiful beaches, the nation’s largest urban park system, spectacular waterways, award winning golf courses and championship tennis facilities. Northeast Florida provides an abundance of outdoor family-friendly living. Roger specializes in residential real estate at the Beaches, and in St. Johns, Duval and Clay counties. At any given time, his active client base is relatively small. When he is not working, Roger enjoys spending his time at Deercreek Country Club playing golf, as well as jogging, hiking, swimming, reading, writing. He also Worked with NBC at Tournament Players Championship and US Open Golf Tournaments.

Prior to purchasing First Coast Sotheby's International Realty in 2009, Jeffrey was founder & CEO of several building, design, and development companies that specialized in luxury single family residences throughout Northeast Florida. Mr. Chefan has successfully created and sold over 50 multi-million dollar properties in Aspen, Colorado; Boca Raton, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Florida. He obtained a florida Certified Building Contractors License in 1987 and a Florida Real Estate License in 1988. Mr. Chefan is currently the managing broker of all four First Coast SIR offices located in N. E. Florida. Jeffrey & Jane Chefan have been married for over 28 years and are blessed to be the parents of two daughters.
