A graduate of the University of Florida with degrees in Finance and Risk Management Insurance, Scott began his career in management training at Stein Eriksen Lodge before transitioning into roles with State Farm, Diversified Insurance Brokers (now IMA), Zions Bank, and insurance premium finance. In 2020, he earned his real estate license. In 2024, inspired by his wife, Caren McClelland (a successful Summit Sotheby’s Realty affiliate specializing in the private community of Victory Ranch), and other respected agents who praised the brokerage’s unmatched support and global reach, Scott joined Utah’s real estate leader, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, where he now collaborates closely with fellow agent, Jay Sheridan to deliver their clients a luxury experience—regardless of location or price point.
Guided by the golden rule and his father’s mantra to “live every day to the fullest,” Scott delivers personalized, client-focused service. When not helping clients, he enjoys running, hiking, skiing, biking, surfing, and traveling. Scott and Caren are proud parents to their two college-aged children, and doting dog owners of Winnie and Izzy.
