She also had the exciting opportunity to live and work for 6 years in Shanghai, China with her husband and two boys. Erica and her family support the International Womens Mentoring Program, Care to Learn, International Institute, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Marine Toys for Tots Program, St. Louis Public Library as well as participates in the revitalization and redevelopment of St. Louis City neighborhoods. Erica also takes an active role in speaking and maintaining her family's Mandarin language within the St. Louis Chinese Community.
