Norberto Azqueta Fanjul is an experienced real estate broker who has been affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty in Palm Beach for the past 15 years. Since joining Equestrian Sotheby’s International Realty, he is excited for the opportunity to be working in Wellington, a place that has forged many relationships and opportunities.
Previously, Norberto was the vice president of Trucane Sugar Corporation for over 40 years. He closed on land purchases and leases totaling over $20 million in sales. Notably, he also facilitated the sale of Port Mayaca for $34 million. His expertise includes residential properties and locating vacant land for investment in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, and Indian River counties. He has participated in commercial real estate projects, government and county approvals for permits on zoning, and land mitigation. He also holds a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation.
Norberto has played polo for over 40 years while living in Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Argentina, and Brazil. He was a captain for three years of Dewar’s 12 polo team at Outback League in Wellington. He is also a ranked AA sporting clay shooter, traveling to tournaments across the country. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in Florida and a Master of Arts degree from Georgetown University in Washington DC. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
