Nestled in the Andes mountains in the town of Quilanga is this hotel and majestic 38-hectare (93-acre) nature reserve!The two-story hotel was finished in 2019 and has 13 rooms for guests. It features natural wood finishes a dining area conference meeting space high ceilings and a kitchen for meal preparation. From the hotel you take a ride to the nature reserve Loma Delgada which is located deep in the mountains outside of town. It is about a 2-hour hike or horseback ride to reach the nature reserve. The trail up to the reserve is stunning and boasts many beautiful 360’ views. Upon arriving at the reserve you can take the main trail along the majestic river up to amazing waterfalls and swimming holes. The crystalline waterfalls are so magical and serene! There is also a slot canyon on another part of the reserve to explore! People also come here for rock climbing. With all of this area you can explore the nooks and crannies of this reserve all day! As one of few hotels in the area it offers an ideal location to host adventurers when they come to explore the area. They can stay the night at the hotel go off early in the morning to explore and then come back at night to rest. If guests don’t feel up to trekking in the mountains they can take a coffee tour in the area.Quilanga is a hidden gem of southern Ecuador. It is known for its award-winning coffee grown on small farms in the nearby mountains. Some even say it is the best coffee in all of Ecuador!
