luxury guide
France is the most visited country in the world, which is not surprising given its diversity. Firstly there is Paris, the City of Light, the economic, financial, political and touristic centre of the country. Living in a prestigious apartment in Paris means soaking up the city's elegant and unique atmosphere. The most sought-after neighbourhoods include Saint-Germain, the Marais, the Triangle d'Or, the 16th arrondissement and many more. The coastline, the sunshine and the liveliness of the French Riviera attract international buyers to the cities of Cannes, Nice and Saint-Tropez and show a different side of the country. The Côte d'Azur's elegant image is epitomised in the grand, prestigious seafront villas found in the most exclusive areas of the coast such as Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. In the winter the French Alps boast some of the best ski resorts in the world and purchasing a luxury chalet in Chamonix-Mont Blanc, Megève or Méribel allows buyers to take advantage of the excellent ski and winter sport facilities. France is characterised by its many different sides; from the windy, Anglo-Saxon region of Brittany to the Spanish-inspired Basque country, without forgetting Alsace, on the border with Germany, or the lavender-scented area of Provence. A cultural mix which reflects the varied history of a country whose culture and gastronomy is appreciated throughout the world.
