Karolyn developed an early appreciation for the smell of construction while walking with her family through framed houses. As a young adult, she enthusiastically sought an opportunity to join a construction crew and learned to draft blueprints, weld, tile, and drywall. Those adventures combine nicely with the experience she gained through her BFA in Studio Art/Photography, over a decade working in food service/hospitality, fourteen years as a professional fitness trainer, and five years working as a licensed assistant to some of the best agents in Houston. Real estate provided an inflection point where she's been able to put her unique insight to use. Karolyn is also a traumatic brain injury survivor so she understands not everyone operates the same, and she loves the opportunity to connect with her clients to bridge where they are to where they want to be.
Karolyn’s GREEN designation supports her focus on efficiency and sustainability, and she is especially interested in Passive House building initiatives.
