A graduate of the Faculty of History and passionate about art and architecture, Constantin Prisecaru has led a Romanian fashion retail network for 9 years and later on joined Colliers International team as a Senior Associate. In 2012, he joined Romania's largest auction house, Artmark, and together they founded Artmark Historical Estate in 2013, a real estate agency specializing in the sale of historical properties and monuments. The rapid success of the new company led to an association with the prestigious brand Sotheby's International Realty in 2019, giving birth to Sotheby's International Realty Romania.
Constantin's success as a top player in the luxury real estate market in Romania is also attributed to his 17 years of experience in management, business development, branding and marketing. As a result of his 12 years of activity as a real estate broker in Bucharest, Constantin's client list ranges from developers, investors, private and institutional clients, individual end-users, non-governamental organizations, tourism and hotel operators to aficionados of historical monuments and their revitalization.
Driven by his passion for history and the national built heritage, Constantin has extensively studied the historical, architectural, and market value of historical monuments, establishing benchmarks in their evaluation. He managed to bring them to the general public`s attention, after 50 years of communist neglection and has thus attracted investors whom he advised in acquisition and the implementation of extensive revitalization projects for various purposes, from private residences to event centers, boutique hotels, resorts, and more. Constantin is proud to have been a decisive factor in the preservation and restoration of historical monuments such as Conacul Alexandrescu from Guranda, Cula and Conacul Greceanu from Măldărești, the Pogany Castles from Păclișa, Haller Castle from Saschiz, Salbek Castle from Petriș, the Take Ionescu Villa, Carola and Ghica Villas in Sinaia, Hlebnikian Villa from Bucharest and many others.
The contemporary luxury property segment is also familiar to him, as he has managed to close significant sales in this field, including the Carphatian Estate in Măgura, penthouses, and somptuous villas in Bucharest and major cities in Romania and is the only romanian real estate professional that sold a private island, Holbina Island.
