Description
An investor and developer in over 75 residential construction or renovation projects, Neal has owned and operated rental houses, flips and luxury new builds. Before his residential real estate career, he pursued management, development and acquisition opportunities for HealthAmerica Realty Group, locating, brokering and developing several medical office buildings in Georgia and Florida.
Before HealthAmerica Group, Neal worked for The Satulah Group, converting retail facilities during mergers for Bank of America and Security Pacific National Bank in Southern California and then for Chemical Bank and the Manufacturer Hanover Trust Bank. In New York, he was responsible for 140 branches on Long Island, led the survey team, updated as-built drawings, prepared construction and signage recommendations and ensured compliance with building codes, ADA and the bank retail program. Neal also worked in The Satulah Group Atlanta office in business development. Notably, he obtained a contract for a master planning project in Bahi, China, for the firm, amongst other projects.
With an Atlanta heritage going back five generations, Neal grew up in Brookwood Hills with his brother, George, with whom he later formed the esteemed Heery Brothers team. Achieving Top Small Team in Atlanta, Heery Brothers consistently remained among the top small teams for 18 years. Growing up, the brothers enjoyed dividing time between Atlanta and London, England but always called Atlanta home. Before forming a team, Neal had achieved #2 Individual Agent in Atlanta; then, as the Heery Brothers, Neal and George partnered for nearly 20 years prior to George’s passing in 2023. Neal and his wife, Rebecca, reside at The Gates Condominiums on Peachtree Road (just above the duck pond in Piedmont Heights East) with their dog, Luna, and cat, Midnight. When he’s not working with clients, Neal enjoys hunting, riding his bicycle, practicing yoga, relaxing in the mountains and spending time with his two grown daughters, Georgia and Emma Neal.
