Mark Lowham brings a uniquely distinguished background to his role as Executive Chairman of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. A graduate of Stanford University with both a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Mark combines deep academic training with decades of hands-on experience in real estate and finance.
Following several years on Wall Street, Mark spent 23 years with one of Washington's leading development firms, where he played a pivotal role in many of the region’s most significant projects, eventually rising to the position of Executive Vice President of WEST*GROUP, the largest developer of Tysons Corner. Since joining TTR Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011, he has led the firm to record growth and established it as one of the most respected luxury brokerages and one of the top 100 largest privately owned companies in the Washington region. Mark is consistently recognized as one of the 200 most influential executives in real estate in the United States. He has personally handled four of the top five highest sales in the history of the Washington region.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mark is deeply committed to philanthropy and civic leadership. He has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including as Chairman of Teach For America for the Washington Region, Life with Cancer, and Philips Program for Children and Families, among others, making him one of Washington’s most engaged philanthropic leaders.
