Misericordia is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Lisbon, belonging to the historic center of the capital, which brings together a series of emblematic neighborhoods in the city.

When arriving in Bairro Alto, coming from Principe Real, it is impossible not to see the Sao Pedro de Alcantara Viewpoint. Recovered in 2008, this viewpoint now offers fantastic views over downtown Lisbon and Sao Jorge Castle, reaching the Tagus River in the distance.
