Description
The estate is located in Vila Vicosa, very close to Elvas.
It has a total of 97 ha, of which 76.77 ha are irrigated vines.
The vineyard in question is very well cared for, has high availability of water.
It has supply of a spring that in good years is enough to water the whole vineyard.
There are still 6 artesian holes, although only 5 of them are used. In addition there are two dams with 40,000 m3 and another with about 30,000 m3, supplied by the spring and/or by the holes.
White grape varieties (15.58 ha) - Verdelho
Red grape varieties (61.19 ha ) - Alicante Bouschet; Cabernet Sauvignon; Petit Syrah; Merlot; Petit Verdot; Touriga Nacional and Aragonese.
The average production is quite good, around 11,000 kg/ha.
The business at this stage is the sale of all production to a nationally renowned wine producer and sold at a good price due to the varieties being interesting and the top quality.
All machines are part of the business: John Derre tractor, New Holland harvester, in addition to numerous tools.
There are also two trucks with stainless steel vats suitable for transporting grapes that are included in the business.
There is also in this fabulous estate 1 ruined hill and 1 Roman chapel dating from 1231 AD.
One may study the possibility of selling the Company if it is of interest to the parties.
