Description
The Herdade do Montado dos Pavoes, has 207 hectares and is located in the southern region of the district of Portalegre, in Alentejo.
Endowed to agricultural and forestry exploration, the property is classified as morphologically flat, with slight undulations in the northern part of the property. This estate, is subdivided in two strands: 1 parcel with 105 hectares, with 11.000 @ arrobas of cork, and 20 hectares of new cork oaks, with the harvest already foreseen for 2025. Another 102-hectare parcel, also with cork oak forests, with a production of 17,000 @ cork arrobas. It should be noted that there are a large number of young, spontaneously growing cork oaks aged 8/12 years. Next harvests, already scheduled for 2022 with 9,000 @ arrobas and for 2027 with 8,000 @ arrobas of cork. We are talking about a total of 28 to 29 thousand @ arrobas of cork in all these runs. This cork is around 40 € / @ arroba, which amounts to: 1.1 Million Euros.
Under PROTA it will be possible to build a dwelling house and agricultural outbuildings on the property.
