With the Atlantic Ocean and the bay of Funchal as a backdrop, we have a contemporary T3 +1 house built in 2013 on a plot of about 900m2. This project invested in well-being and superior quality features by installing a sound system by the brand Cambridge Audio, a home automation system, video surveillance, low-consumption lighting with LED technology, electric indoor and outdoor fans. The whole house was coated with the capoto system - which allows excellent thermal and acoustic insulation for the outside. The living / dining room and kitchen are all open space with great amplitude and open through glazed walls to the outside without ever losing the view over the front gardens of the house, the pool and the ocean. The kitchen, made up of a system of two interconnected islands and fully equipped, creates an environment of colloquial conviviality, always combining aesthetics and functionality. The master suite with around 80m2 develops and extends like a volume that makes us float over the bay of Funchal. Outside we have about 400m2 of gardens, a barbecue area, a large solarium with a mini jacuzzi pool with capacity for 6 people. The heated swimming pool plunges into the ocean. Due to the location and supporting walls of the house, all exterior areas benefit from total privacy. The entire villa is equipped and decorated with luxury equipment, materials and decoration, of which we highlight Dedon furniture (with an XXL limited edition orbit and a swingrest), Vondom tables and chairs, Myour pool loungers Zoe. In terms of lighting, a Skygarden pendant lamp by Flos – designed by Marcel Wanders, which is an authentic piece of art, as well as several lamps by Kartell. Duravit ceramic fixtures and Geberit sanitary systems in the bathrooms. The commitment to sustainability is another relevant aspect since the house is equipped with a solar thermal collector for water heating and a microgeneration and electricity production system - a 20 KW photovoltaic system.
