Located 4 kilometres from Biar, in the province of Alicante, in the middle of nature in front of the Benejama valley, populated by almond and olive trees, at the foot of the pine forest of the Fontanella mountain range and next to a spring.
This beautiful farmhouse has been completely restored and has been functioning as a rural hotel for more than 16 years, with 9 double rooms, one of them in an independent building.
There is a tenth independent room with ground floor and first floor, with carpentry, but without interior installations (possibility of increasing the number of rooms up to 10 or 14).
The original character has been preserved, conserving the primitive structure of wooden beams, stone walls, laying terracotta or wooden floors, but offering, at the same time, the comforts of a modern hotel, warm and welcoming colours, large windows that let in the light and the greenery of the nature that surrounds the house.
Every space, every corner of the rural hotel has been designed to enjoy rest, tranquillity, quiet time, light and nature.
Good heating in winter, air conditioning in summer, 4 cosy lounges spread over the different floors, an indoor and outdoor garden in a plot of more than 6,500 m2, with a 6m x 12m swimming pool, ping pong table, trampoline...
30 minutes by car from Alicante, you will find this place in the interior of the province, with beautiful valleys and mountains, yet to be discovered for lovers of hiking, climbing, cycling or horse riding, multi-adventure sports and also for those who are attracted by villages full of history, such as Biar, Bocairente, etc.
Area very well communicated by the AP7 road: 30 minutes by car from Alicante, its beaches and airport, 6 minutes from Villena (population 35.000), 20 minutes from the AVE train station in Villena, 3 minutes from Biar (very pretty town of 3.500 inhabitants). 90 minutes from Valencia, 60 minutes from Murcia and 75 minutes from Albacete.
The main building consists of ground floor, first floor and first floor.
On the ground floor there is the reception, public toilets, industrial kitchen, laundry room, fridges, the dining room/restaurant, the lounge with old wood oven which works perfectly and Swedish cooker, large library lounge with direct access to the garden of 87 m2, (it was a former wine cellar and is now used as a multifunctional room), living room with high ceilings and stone walls with fireplace of 40 m2.
On the upper floors, there are eight double bedrooms with their respective bathrooms. One of the rooms has its own terrace and two others have a balcony window. All of them measure between 13.5 m2 (the smallest) and 18m2 (excluding the bathrooms) and almost all of them are attic rooms, some with higher ceilings, some with lower.
The decoration varies from room to room. Two of the rooms have a third loft bed.
On the first floor there is a living room and a large terrace for public use, as well as a living space of 100 square metres (with bedrooms, kitchen and two bathrooms) which can be used as living space, can be used to enlarge the number of rooms or to create new common areas.
On the first floor there is a large library room, with high ceilings and large windows, which is also for public use.
In a separate building within the same enclosure there is a ninth double room with bathroom, loft and sofa-bed, which is the largest room in the hotel with 21m2.
Another two-storey building (the interior work has yet to be completed): it can be used as a guest flat or for other purposes. It has two types of heating systems: propane gas and biomass boiler (olive pits/pellet).
