Description
Country estate with 500 years of history, originally served as the farm for the monks that lived in the famous Yuste monastery. There are various buildings from the time that are still preserved and well-maintained such as the winery, the olive oil mill and the infirmary. At the time, the monks farmed the food that Charles V the Emperor consumed in the monastery. It has also been confirmed that this farm was the first place where a tobacco plant brought from America was planted in Europe. The stone wall surrounding the property built by the monks is also preserved. The property was declared to be of National Tourist Interest, and it is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty that enjoys a very pleasant climate throughout the year, having both mild winters and summers.
