Structural work and architecture:
Built in 1519, it was the era of the first Renaissance which saw
the construction of the Loire castles under the reign of François 1er : Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Chambord...
This sublime Château also belongs to this movement, It has all the characteristics of this French Renaissance, including certain decorative
elements: spans, capitals, mullioned windows, etc., while retaining an older defensive register (ditches, gunboats, etc.)

Built in cut stone, tufa stone, specific to the region, like the castles of the Loire, it has a very beautiful equipment: 4 levels of 200 m².

Its framework is medieval and the decor Renaissance.

It consists of a main body, 2 cylindrical towers on the East & West sides and on the North, an entrance pavilion containing the large spiral staircase.

Completely restored in the 2000s, the current owners have kept its original features and restored it to its former glory!
Courtyard side to the north, a terrace on one side and its entrance pavilion on the other.
On the garden side to the south, a prestigious facade with a rectangular building flanked by two large round towers.

Entirely redone in 2005, its Angers slate roof makes it a particularly remarkable chateau.
