Along the Cilento coast, there is a series of watchtowers now almost ruins which represent an enormous historical-cultural heritage of buildings built in the second half of the 16th century to defend the territory and the populations from the incursions of Saracens, Arabs and Turks. Along the Cilento coast there are about 60 of those. The towers had a square base of 10m long with a height of 20m divided on 3 floors. On the ground floor there was the warehouse and accommodation for the horses; the staff would be on the first floor; and on the top floor the batteries and the guards, the well and cisterns for water completed the property. This property is precisely the renovation of an ancient tower and is enclosed and protected by a pine grove and a typical Mediterranean vegetation. Branching of paths climb along the vegetation up to the renowned Saline beach and lead us to three different units. The first apartment consists of an entrance to the kitchen / living room, 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom. From what used to be the water cistern, a second apartment has been created with a singular mezzanine that serves as a bedroom, there is one more bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom; the upper floor houses an open space with an original stone fireplace, a kitchenette and a bathroom; a small and sinuous staircase of precious Vietri ceramics leads to the solarium wisely obtained between the battlements of the tower, an outside living room overlooking the sea.
